Aspen Higgs Conference In Progress

A Higgs boson conference is underway in Aspen, Colorado.

Professor Strassler's presentation almost feels as if he is channeling agent Fox Mulder from the X-Files.  He just knows that something must be out there (new physics) and will leave no rock unturned looking for it.

Other talks review the state of the experimental data which is mostly old news after the Moriond conference announcements.  The news everyone is waiting for is still the CMS data on diphoton decay rates which is rumored will be announced tomorrow later this week and are rumored to show a reduced excess.

Off topic note to self for follow up: Do the electron mass, up quark mass and down quark mass form a Koide triple?
